CTMSDG Gathering at UConn Storrs on September 23rd, 5-7pm!

We invite abstracts from early career mass spectrometrists for consideration to give a mini-talk during the event. One abstract will be chosen for a 15 min presentation for this and future CTMSDG meetings. Be sure to submit your abstract by Friday, Sept 4 for consideration for this specific event.


Our registration page is now live and includes all relevant logistical details and instructions for mini-talk abstract submission.

 

What: CTMSDG gathering featuring talks from researchers spanning academic, industry, and vendors plus cross-discipline networking opportunities.


Confirmed speakers include:

  • Guillame Tremintin, Ph.D., Bruker Biosystems

  • Dan Fabris, Ph.D., Harold S. Schwenk Sr. Distinguished Chair in Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, University of Connecticut

  • Early Career Scientist mini-talk opportunity* - see below for more details

 

When: Wednesday, September 23, 2026 from 5-7pm

 

Where: Innovation Partnership Building at the University of Connecticut, 159 Discovery Drive, Storrs CT 06269      PARKING: Free event parking will be available in the parking lots adjacent to IPB.

 

Who: All mass spectrometry enthusiasts from the southern New England region and beyond!

 

Cost: Free

 

*Early career scientist mini-talk opportunityAll graduate students, post-docs, and early career mass spectrometrists (fewer than 5 years from your terminal degree) are encouraged to submit a short (<200 words) abstract for a ~15 minute mini-talk on your own mass spectrometry-based research project.  Please include the following and send your abstract to jeremy.balsbaugh@uconn.edu for consideration:
